500 Attend Edinburg UFO Conference
In order to provide more interesting and diverse entertainment options for its community members, the city of Edinburg, Texas, hosted its first-ever “Edinburg UFO Conference” on Friday, August 10, 2012, at the City Auditorium. The conference was sponsored by the Dustin Sekula Michael Memorial Library, Edinburg Arts, and RoswellBooks.com. The lectures were planned and organized by Edinburg author Noe Torres.
Some people projected that the conference would draw between 100 and 200 people to the auditorium, which seats 500. These expectations were far exceeded, as a capacity crowd of 500 people showed up for the free event. The conference was also covered by the local media, as in the video clip shown below:
