The Texas UFO Museum and Research Library Project is an initiative of the Border Zone UFO Festivals group. Border Zone UFO Festivals have been bringing world-class UFO speakers and authors to cities all along the Texas-Mexico border since 2011. Festivals so far: Laredo (2011 & 2012), Edinburg (2012, 2013 & 2014), Presidio (2012, 2013, & 2014), and Del Rio (2014 & 2015). The masterminds of the Border Zone Festivals are pictured above: Brad Newton (left), Noe Torres (middle), and Ruben Uriarte (right).
Noe Torres is an author, publisher, UFO investigator, and MUFON member in Texas. He has authored a number of books related to the UFO phenomenon and appears frequently in the media and at conferences, speaking about his research. He holds a Bachelor’s in English and a Master’s in Library Science from the University of Texas at Austin. With California UFO researcher Ruben Uriarte, he has written four acclaimed books: Mexico’s Roswell, The Other Roswell, Aliens in the Forest, and The Coyame Incident. In addition, his books The Real Cowboys & Aliens: UFO Encounters of the Old West, Fallen Angel, and Ultimate Guide to the Roswell UFO Crash have also been very well-received by the UFO research community.
About Mexico’s Roswell, the MUFON Journal said, “Torres and Uriarte are to be commended for tackling such an important case, whose impact on ufology may only now be coming to light thanks to the research they have undertaken. A definite must-read.” George Noory commented, “Amazing! This story is wilder than the U.S. Roswell. This book is an amazing piece of work.”
About Ultimate Guide to the Roswell UFO Crash, veteran UFO researcher / author Kevin Randle said, “If you are planning to visit Roswell, this book tells you all you need to know about the UFO crash, the city and its character. It condenses the confusion of the case into an easily read book that will help anyone make the most of a visit to the city and help understand what actually happened. A very nice addition to the Roswell literature.”
Noe has appeared on the History Channel’s “UFO Hunters,” Coast to Coast AM, the Jeff Rense program, and many other shows. He is also a frequent lecturer at UFO conferences and has spoken on many occasions at the annual Roswell UFO Festival. Noe has also collaborated on several book projects with a number of other UFO researchers and authors, including Philip Mantle, Paul Stonehill, Carlos Guzman, E. J. Wilson, and John LeMay.

Brad Newton is one of the architects of the “Border Zone UFO” series of conferences that have been held all along the Texas-Mexico border since 2011. He has been deeply involved in the planning and management of the conferences, serving as emcee, photographer, speaker, and also playing the role of the mysterious “Man in Black” at the events.
Brad collaborated with authors Noe Torres and Ruben Uriarte on their 2013 book The Coyame Incident, and many of the photographs in the book were taken by Brad. He also oversees the web site UFOborderzone.com. Brad has held a lifelong interest in UFOs and is actively seeking, through his photography, to become the first person on Earth to obtain irrefutable photographic evidence of the existence of UFOs.
Brad also speaks at UFO conferences, giving a fascinating multimedia presentation on some of the most amazing paranormal sites and events along the Texas-Mexico border, especially in the Big Bend area. He speaks on “ancient aliens” that are possibly depicted in centuries-old rock art, ghostly lights that appear every night near Marfa, a “zone of silence” in the desert where time seems to stand still, ancient monsters that roamed the Big Bend, and more.
Brad is currently employed as director for economic development for the City of Presidio, Texas, where he is also in charge of promoting tourism.
